The design represents the trajectory from Hioki’s historical roots to its future aspirations and vision. This symbol was selected from a variety of designs submitted by our employees.

GREETING

Message from the President

Hioki will celebrate the 90th anniversary of its founding in 2025. Building on the Hioki Philosophy, “Respect for Humanity” and “Contribution to Society,” we’ve supported the development of society as well as people’s lives through electrical measurement. By allowing people to visualize the invisible phenomenon of electricity, electrical measuring instruments help underpin the very foundation of society. Although few are aware of them in everyday life, these tools are an indispensable presence in promoting research and development, improving productivity, and ensuring the safe use of electricity. We’ve consistently provided measurement solutions that align with the needs of customers who drive societal progress and ensure the safety of electrical infrastructure. Our ability to do so is entirely due to the support of our customers, business partners, and all other stakeholders, and I’d like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude for that support.

As we strive to create a sustainable society, we’re on the brink of a significant transformation in how we use energy. We believe that our measurement capabilities are more important than ever as we prepare for this future transformation. The 90th anniversary symbol represents our innovations to date, our global influence, our values of respect for people, and points to the future that lies beyond society’s transformation.

As it looks towards the 100th anniversary of its founding, the Hioki Group will come together to contribute to the world as a creator of solutions, striving to realize a better world through its technological capabilities and comprehensive strengths.

I look forward to your continued support and kindness in the future and wish for continued success and prosperity for all.

Takahiro Okazawa
President
